What is a Disciple?
What will I do?
A disciple is a follower of Jesus. The whole purpose of being a disciple of Jesus is to imitate Him, carry on His ministry, and become more like him in the process. Within this discipleship program you will learn the importance of becoming a disciple of Jesus and how to make more disciples with the people in your community. Being a disciple is about loving God and enjoying Him with others.
As a Connect Disciple, you will experience one-on-one mentorship, build relationships with Nicaraguans and North Americans, and dig deep into God’s word. You will be able to discuss, search, challenge, and ask questions about your faith in a safe environment. You will go out in the community and invest time into people. What is the Purpose?
The Discipleship program with Connect Nicaragua is all about love. God’s love changes us from the inside out and redefines every aspect of our lives. Our hope is that through this experience you will be able to know the spirit of freedom and love that God has placed in you. We long to help others see the value and importance of giving time and love to your surrounding community, as well as the word coming alive in you.
God has given us an incredible opportunity of working with two different cultures and is constantly teaching us how to efficiently make disciples within two cultures. Become a Connect Disciple and join us in this God-given mission.
