Our mission is to make disciples in many cultures at one time by engaging individuals, communities and the Church through love, prayer, worship, service and the Word lived out.
Based in Managua, Nicaragua, Connect is a non-profit Christian ministry with the goal of connecting two cultures, and ultimately seeking Christ in deeper, more meaningful relationships. Connect pursues this calling with multiple ministries, including short term mission trips, long term discipleships, and the BECA Scholarship Program, all of which connect cultures around the world to build God’s Kingdom.
God is calling all cultures to come together to serve the poor and broken hearted, restore hope, and to bring salvation to many. Katie McGrew and Larrys Mendoza felt this calling on their own lives and stepped into God’s plan by founding Connect Nicaragua. Their desire is to see lives changed through the powerful act of connecting people with Christ and each other.
Connect Nicaragua is a cross-cultural, Christ-based ministry making a tangible difference in the lives of both Nicaraguans and Americans alike. If you feel called to participate in the work God is doing through this ministry, there are many ways to get involved: join a short or long term mission program, sponsor a Nicaraguan girl, donate to the ministry financially, or support the ministry in prayer.
